Outdoor School Week, or fifth grade camp, is an opportunity for your fifth graders to get out of the
classroom and have some fun while learning about nature and the outdoors. Fifth grade camp also
marks a right of passage for your students from elementary school to middle school. Different
from a typical school portraits, portraits of your 5th graders at camp are relaxed, informal and
reflects the camper's unique personality at this time of transition.
This is my 5th school year offering this service. The photographs I make at camp include:
- Group (cabin) photo of students along with their chaperones
- Individual student photo
- Group photo of the teachers
- Family photo (e.g, parent-chaperone with their child, siblings)
- Large group photo - students, chaperones and teachers together
I offer a package containing two photos - a 3x5" individual student portrait and a 5x7" group (cabin) portrait
in a memory mate folder. During the 2006-2007 school year, this package is available for sale for $10.00 each,
including sale tax. The package may be purchased in one of the following ways:
- All photo packages are prepaid as part of the camp tuition
- All students are given the opportunity to purchase the photos after camp
The photo packages are usually available for distribution at school during the week following camp.
All prepaid packages come with a 100% money back guarantee. If the school elected not to prepay for
the photos, the students can take their photo packages home and will be given a specific amount of
time to inspect the photos. The package will contain an order form with instructions
on how to purchase the photos. The photo package must be returned by a specified date if the student
does not intend to purchase them. I will need the school's help in distributing the photo packages
and with receiving any payments and returns.
The photos are made with a professional, high-resolution digital SLR camera and supplemental lighting,
and printed on premium, archival quality photo paper. Corrections and enhancements are made
manually to the images before printing.
